I was lucky enough to photograph at this stunning venue the week before at Ewa & Chris’ wedding so I knew exactly how amazing a location it was. I also knew how windy it can get as it’s quite an exposed location out on the cliffs of West Wales.
Caryl & Alex live in London, though Caryl has her roots in Cardigan. Which incidentally is the town where I was born, so it has been really nice to go back two weeks in a row to photograph these fantastic days.
When hearing about the plans for the wedding, I knew it was going to be something special. Not only does it have a beautiful location to start, but Caryl and her parents had done a fantastic job of arranging to have their reception back at Caryl’s parents campsite in a huge marquee.
Some of the finishing touches inside were amazing, wildflowers everywhere and subtle hints at the landscape and nature which is all around this part of the world.
Food was provided by Llys Meddyg and in a really fun twist, the guests were involved in carving their own meat at the table! Some got the hang of this quicker than others!
All in all I had a great time photographing the day, massive thanks and congratulations to Caryl and Alex!
