36 Frames – One Roll of Black + White Film at a Wedding
I thought it may be a fun idea if I posted the results from one single roll of 35mm black and white film, shot at a recent wedding. I actually posted the sneak peaks (Colour / Digital) a few weeks back which you can see here.
So this is the entire roll of film, 36 frames. I used my Leica M6 with Ilford HP5+ film.
Just for context, this camera is entirely manual, so there is no autofocus, no auto anything. Its about as simple as it gets. There is no safety net, the shot you take is what you get, with no chance to save any mistakes afterwards.
The black border you can see is the edges of the negative, so no cropping here.
I didn’t intend to do a post like this when I shot the roll, just thought it was a fun idea this morning while I was having coffee!
I’m also going through the other rolls of colour film now and the colours are sublime! Thats in addition to the rest of the digital captures too!
So enjoy the 36 frames and if you are looking for a analogue film wedding photographer in Wales then drop me a message and we can discuss options together!
