Gower Elopement photography: R & J

The Gower is, in my opinion, one of the best places in the country for elopement photography. R & J had a small, but lovely ceremony at the registry office in Swansea. It was atteneded by a few family members to share the moment.

After the ceremony we decided to drive down to one of the best places in all of South Wales for wedding or elopement photographs, Rhossili Bay on the Gower peninsula.

One of the reasons that makes Rhossili so good for a elopement or wedding photo session is that it not only looks absolutely epic no matter the weather, but its also really accessible The incredible views are only a short walk from the carpark, so its not like you need to take a 45 minute hike to get to the good stuff, though that can be fun too!

Speaking of the weather, you may be able to tell it was a little windy, yeah….The only downside of somewhere like Rhossili can be the expusre to the elements. It does get very windy here. So if you’ve got your heart set on some clifftop images, just be prepared for it to be a little on the colder/windy side if you are planning an out of season elopement or wedding.
