S + A’s wedding took place at the wonderful Green Grove Barns wedding venue just outside Llangadog. Green Grove Barns are a family run business who offer their venue for a select number of weddings and occasions each year.

What makes green grove barns perfect for a wedding?
Aside from the gorgeous views, the barn has some killer features that make it ideal for hosting a diy or boho/rustic style wedding. One of my favourite things about the venue is how much space there is inside. It allows so much scope to add your own flair too without it feeling cramped and messy. Also, the exposed design features and general architecture of the barn itself really lend itself to great photos!
The front of the barn has a large patio/terrace with great views, also in the perfect position for some late evening golden hour!
For photography, there are endless opportunities right on the property. Not only do you have the iconic tree in front of the barn, but you can also take a short walk up to some fields and woodland which offer some great backdrops, with the sun being in a friendly position too.
Pro Photography tip:
Here’s a quick tip from me—when setting up your ceremony, be mindful of the lighting. At S & A’s wedding the ceremony didn’t take place until later on in the day, when the sun wasn’t quite as strong, so be mindful of the suns position when you are planning an outdoor ceremony.
