Sant Ffraed House Wedding – O & T

Sant Ffraed House WEDDING | A Stylish Welsh Wedding Full of Love

There is something truly special about photographing a wedding where every single part of the day feels joyful, personal and completely unapologetic in its celebration of love. This beautiful wedding at Sant Ffraed House was exactly that, relaxed, emotional, stylish and full of laughter from the start.

Nestled in the heart of the Monmouthshire countryside, Sant Ffraed House is one of South Wales’ most sought-after luxury wedding venues, and it provided the perfect backdrop for this unforgettable same-sex wedding. From the soft morning light spilling into the ceremony room to portraits in the grounds, every moment felt cinematic.

A Personal and Emotional Ceremony

The ceremony took place overlooking the sweeping Welsh countryside, with guests seated beneath soft skies and rolling hills in the distance. The couple chose to keep things simple, modern and heartfelt, it worked perfectly.

I’m always incredibly proud to document ceremonies that openly celebrate equality, identity and authentic love. This ceremony was filled with emotion. The vows were personal, the reactions were raw, and the connection between these two was undeniable.

Wedding Photography at Sant Ffraed House

After the ceremony, we made the most of the stunning grounds for relaxed, natural couple portraits. Sant Ffraed House offers so much variety in one venue, sweeping lawns, dramatic architecture, quiet corners and light-filled interiors, which allows for timeless wedding photography without ever needing to leave the estate.

My approach is always documentary at heart. I want couples to enjoy their day without constant direction, stepping in only when needed to create natural, flattering portraits. This couple were effortless together, which made the photography feel organic and full of genuine connection.

If you’re planning a same-sex wedding at Sant Ffraed House, you can be confident that the venue is not only visually breathtaking, but also inclusive, welcoming and wonderfully run.
