Cardiff Registry Office Wedding: Emma & Luke

Its been a little while since I blogged last, so here is a lovely little Cardiff wedding for you to tide you over!

Things are really starting to pick up again now with lots of weddings going ahead and being very close to how they were back in 2019. Yes there are still masks, social distancing and the like but you can tell that people are starting to get used to the few restrictions and working with them.

In all honesty a few of the weddings I’ve shot recently could have taken place a couple of years ago if you took away the masks and the hand sanitizer!

I actually photographed Emma’s sisters wedding a few years ago at Fairyhill and so it was lovely to be asked to come up to Cardiff for her wedding at Cardiff registry office.

Unfortunately due to the restrictions on numbers inside at the time I wasn’t able to photograph the actually ceremony but instead we had a lovely first look in Alexandra Gardens which is just next door to Cardiff registry office.

After weeks of bad weather this really seemed like the first proper day of spring and the gardens were in full bloom.

I’ve got a few more weddings saved up to blog over the next few weeks, as well as a much busier than usual calendar for the rest of the summer!
