Sometimes I’m not booked up far in advance. Sometimes I can get a call that asks if I’m free a few weeks down the line. Sometimes I am.
When Richard asked if I was able to come and photograph his wedding I was initially a little surprised at not only the timescale, but the comparative size compared to whats considered normal (whatever that means?!).
Richard and Klaudia were getting married at Swansea registry office and wanted me along to document the service but mainly to focus on getting some great images of them together. Any trepidation I had about not getting enough images and repeating myself visually were soon forgotten. I hadn’t had this much fun on a wedding shoot in some time!
It really went to show how important both the collaboration is between the couple and photographer and also the importance of setting aside a good amount of time sin order to settle in to having your photograph taken. In the end I came away with some great photo’s and had a blast, what more can I ask for!
