A little about me…

After a few years of taking photographs of my friends skateboarding and playing in bands, I decided to get serious and graduated with a degree in Documentary Photography in 2011.

After university I spent some time working as a picture editor for the Financial Times in London, alongside working as a freelance photographer for magazines, newspapers and commercial clients.

Fast forward a decade and I now live and work in Swansea, South Wales. Close to the wonderful Gower with my partner Jenny. We love going for long bike rides, coffee and being in nature.

Outside of photography, I am utterly obsessed with music. I played in bands for years but these days I produce electronic music. If you can discover my alias I’ll buy you a drink on your wedding day!

HOW I DO WEDDINGS…

No two weddings are the same. I believe that each day is as unique as you are and I strive to tell the story of your day in as an authentic way as possible.

I began my journey into photography by studying the craft of visual storytelling and photojournalism with a degree in Documentary Photography at Newport University. I always try and keep these foundations in place while telling the story of your day.

I blend into the background, allowing things to unfold naturally, capturing real emotions and moments as they happen. I’m not one to stage things, capturing things in real time is what matters to me.

I know they aren’t everyones favourite part of the day. But I do believe they can be really important to at least do some.

Usually I ask for a short list of your requirements before the wedding and we do them shortly after the ceremony while everyone is still together.

Beofre your day I will ask for a timeline of the wedding, from getting ready until the first dance.

This ensures I know exactly what is happening and when. I’m also able to plan in advance the best time to go for some great sunset photos!
