Socially Distanced Wedding! – Genna & Chris
So, its been a minute?!
Lets start with the obvious. Things have been different this year, to say the least.
When I last posted I think a lot of peoples thoughts were that this whole thing would be over by now and we could all get on with our lives. It hasn’t quite worked out like that.
What was set to be a really busy year disintegrated over the passing few months and presently there is really an end in sight.
I really feel for all of my couples who have had to drastically change plans, reschedule dates and in some cases even cancel their weddings. As hard as this is for us suppliers, I can imagine it being even worse when its your big day that is constantly up in the air!
There have been some nice moments in this craziest of years. I’ve a few blog posts lined up to show some of the small, socially distanced weddings I’ve photographed so far this year.
First up is Genna and Chris. They had originally planned a large wedding at the Barn at Brynich which is in the Brecon Beacons National Park.
Having to cut down the guest list to 15 people max, I was allowed to attend and photograph at a distance.
It was a pretty warm day, so for a first time shooting while wearing a mask was a little uncomfortable!
Below is a small selection of some of my faves from the hour or so I spent there. If you are planning to have a socially distanced wedding in the next few months and are looking for a photographer to capture it safely and professionally please get in touch by clicking here.
I am working on a revised Covid price list to give some options for the smaller gatherings we are now having so please ask!
