Old Post House Wedding: Angharad & Richard

So, week 4 of lockdown. Or is it 5? I can’t remember if I’m honest! But today I wanted to go back to this Old Post House wedding of Angharad and Richard, which took place on the very last day of 2019.

What I do remember is that after a chilled morning of prep at Angharads parents house, we set off to Cardiff Bay and the venue for the ceremony was the wonderfully quirky Sunflower & i.

‘Quick note to other photographers, natural light absolutely will not work here! The entire place is lit with a mix of lamps and fairy lighting, time to get the flash out guys and girls!’

The lighting did however make for a lovely intimate atmosphere which was enjoyed by the stylish guests until it was time to leave for the Old Post House in the village of St Fagans.

Now, being NYE the venue was suitably decorated and the crowd in the mood to party. But before the evening went into full swing I took a chance to get some lovely portraits of Angharad and Richard in the grounds of St Fagans which is literally just over the road.

After that, it was back to the Post House for the evening party. I hope you are dealing with lockdown ok wherever you are reading this from,  here is a little glimpse of the day back when we were allowed to be within inches of each other!
